The committees comprise both international and Indian bodies. The international committees include countries primarily relevant to the agenda, while also fostering robust debates that encourage delegates to hold unapologetically opinionated stances. These committees operate under well-defined rules of procedure. The Indian committees are organized with Indian political parties and members of parliament. Additionally, we host a highly engaging international press committee for journalism enthusiasts, offering an immersive experience of two realistic days in the life of journalists from various countries.

• Yes, accommodation for delegates will be provided at NVIMUN 2026 for two     days. The fee for national delegates is Rs. 4,000, and for international delegates, it is $110.

3. What is the registration process for NVIMUN 2026?

For example, if you have been assigned a country portfolio from a following committee, beginners are expected to conduct extensive research on the country’s foreign policy, its international relations, its various positions on different issues, and especially its stance on the agenda of the committee you have chosen for NVIMUN 2026.

• Secondly, beginners should familiarize themselves with the rules of procedure for Model United Nations provided by the Nyayavani Foundation. Important topics such as resolution drafting, moderated and unmoderated caucuses, the executive board, strategizing, and delegate relationships should be prioritized.

• Thirdly, understand the committee’s agenda and the positions of different countries on the issues to anticipate what your opponents might cite or which points may arise during motions. Familiarize yourself with the agenda by conducting thorough research. 

• Communication is the most important factor in building confidence; therefore, delegates must refine their speech and delivery skills. Practice maintaining calmness to reduce nervousness during presentations.

• It is important to follow current affairs to stay informed.
